Before you can provide Courses on the Site, you must read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions for the Instructor ("Instructor Terms"). These Instructor Terms will apply to any Account that is approved to be an Instructor on the Site. If you do not accept these Instructor Terms in full, you are not authorized to teach on the Site and you are not eligible to receive any money from EdVate for any Course services you provide on the Site.
Instructor Qualification Process
In order to preserve the Course quality on the Site and to ensure the safety of all our users, every user who wishes to teach a Course will be required to go through an application and Instructor qualification process
Users must complete the following simple steps before they can begin to teach:
Complete an Instructor profile on our site to provide us with information regarding your background and the planned Courses that you wish to teach. You will authorize us to verify the accuracy of all the information you provide. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to accept or decline your application for any reason. If you pass our evaluation and we approve your application after our review, you will be considered an "Instructor." You can provide only Courses that were approved on the Site. If you wish to teach another course, you must create a new course and submit for our approval.
At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to withdraw our approval of your application and to suspend or terminate your right to teach on the Site at any time. Notice of termination may or may not be sent to you in written communication to the email address that you have listed on your profile. You will be liable for any breaches and/or obligations incurred before we suspend or terminate your Account.
Modification or Deletion of Content or Courses
If you wish to remove or modify any Content or Courses you must resubmit course material for our approval.
Course content License Grant
You hereby agree that any EdVate will obtain and be granted, a worldwide, non-sublicenseable and non-exclusive right and license to use the Content incorporated in that Course solely for commercial and noncommercial educational purposes. Please read those carefully. You also acknowledge that we may use your Content and information about your Courses in marketing, advertising and promotion of our Site in any medium, and you hereby give us permission to use your name as part of such marketing, advertising or promotion.
Solicitation and Disclosure of Personal Information
You agree that you are prohibited from soliciting any personally identifiable information (such as birth date, age, government issued number, email address, phone number or home address) from any Student on Edvate and that you are prohibited from disclosing such personally identifiable information to any third party. You are not allowed to obtain any personal information from your Student other that what is provided by Edvate.
Payment Terms for Instructors
You will be paid on an hourly bases based on the length of the course. Hourly rate will be determined at the sole discretion of Edvate. Hourly rates are subject to change without notice. You will be paid via email transfers to the email address that your provide on your profile. You are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, local, and foreign taxes or charges imposed by any government entity, directly or indirectly, in connection with your enrollment as instructors. We reserve the right to not to pay if you cannot properly deliver the Course for any reason.
Instructors are in breach of terms if they fail to deliver Course with the curriculum and content by which the course was approved by Edvate, by misrepresent a Course by posting any Prohibited Content or perform any Prohibited Conduct. Instructors are expected to perform in a manner that results in a consistently high level of Student satisfaction
The instructor agrees that all course material and content provided and delivered through Edvate are not plagiarized and does not infringe on any copyright of any individual, businesses, incorporations, academic intuitions or other entities. If any copyright infringement occurs by using the course material and content provided by the instructor, Edvate will not be liable and the instructor will be responsible for all damages and liabilities.
